The event is organised by Italian Folk Connections in collaboration with Creativeflow and includes two separate workshops. Please note that spaces for these workshops are limited and booking is required for each workshop independently.


WORKSHOP 1: “Tarantella: the colours of emotions”
(Ages 6-11) – 3:30 pm

-Who is it?
-We are hate, anger and pain
-Thanks, we do not want you!
… and everything became numb and grey….

Emotions are movements towards life.
Southern Italian Tarantella dance is the starting point of a journey through music, storytelling and visual arts to recognize the importance of feeling and expressing all the colours of our emotions.

WORKSHOP 2: “Tarantella lab”
Wild Tarantella dance workshop to follow!! (all ages) – 4:45 pm

Please note that this workshop is free but spaces are limited and need to be reserved.

*Admission is FREE. Donations will be given to the Welcoming, a charity with a vision “of a diverse and inclusive Scotland where everyone feels welcome and can achieve their potential”.
